Notes :

These sceanrios can be played with V1.06 only for the moment.

The "fallgelb.zip file" should be opened with Winzip (click here to download Winzip if you do not already have it). The file contains :

1 / One "fallgelb.exe" file which contains all the data necessary to play the "Fall Gelb" scenario.

Note that :

the "fallgelb.exe" is a heavily edited version of the original "opart.exe" file : most off the Russian and Japanese units have been replaced by new units which you will discover by using the editor.

you simply have to put the "fallgelb.exe" in your "operational art of war" directory and double click it to play the scenario (you still have to select Fall Gelb from the scenario menu of course). There is no longer any need to tinker with your "opart.exe file".

all the other scenarios work with this new "fallgelb.exe" file but are totally incoherent…. if you want to play other scenarios, use your original "opart.exe"file instead.

2 / One "fallgelb.sce" scenario (solitaire version) and one "fallgelb pbem.sce" scenario (two player version) : in the second version, German paratrooper units are no longer pre-positioned and the controlling player may send them where he wishes.

3 / One "fallgelb free.sce" scenario (solitaire version) and one "fallgelb free pbem.sce" scenario (two player version) : in this variant, the French army is positioned just prior to its Dyle maneuvre and may react sooner.

4 / One "fallgelb1941.sce" scenario : a "what if" variant with an attck in 1941 instead of 1940.

5 / The "guderian40.sce" is a bonus scenario about the battle of Sedan by Stéphane COMMANS. Note : this scenario is played with the original "opart.exe" file. Go here to download this scenario separately.

6 / One ABBREVIATIONS.doc file in Word 97 format with information on the abreviated unit designations used in this scenario

7 / One "ob.xls" Excell file with a schedule of the various formations' activation

8 / One mailing list file with a list of Fall Gelb players.
